ഈ സമരത്തിന്‍റെ മുന്‍നിരയില്‍ എന്തു കൊണ്ട് ഇത്രയധികം സ്ത്രീകളും കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളും അണിനിരക്കുന്നു. എവിടേയും മാലിന്യത്തിന്റെ തീവ്രമായ പ്രശ്നങ്ങള്‍ അനുഭവിക്കുന്നത് അവരാണ്. രോഗമായിട്ടും കുടിവെള്ള പ്രശ്നമായിട്ടും. ശുദ്ധമായ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കാനില്ലെങ്കില്‍ വിഷം കലര്‍ന്ന വെള്ളമാണുള്ളതെങ്കില്‍ വെള്ളം തേടി സ്ത്രീകള്‍ എവിടെയോക്കെയോപ്പോയി അലഞ്ഞ് തിരിഞ്ഞ് ശുദ്ധജലം കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ട ഗതികേടാണ്. ഭക്ഷണം പാകം ചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍ വിഷമാണു ചുറ്റുമെന്നറിഞ്ഞു കൊണ്ടൊരമ്മ കുട്ടിക്കന്നം വെച്ചു വിളമ്പുമ്പോള്‍ അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന മാനസികയാതനകള്‍ٹ വിവാഹ പ്രായം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടും വിവാഹം കഴിക്കാനാവാതെ വിഷമിക്കുന്ന യുവതിയുവാക്കള്‍ٹ ഇതൊരു ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഭൂമിയാണെന്ന പുറംലോകത്തിന്‍റെ കാഴ്ചപ്പാടുകള്‍ٹ ഇങ്ങിനെ നീണ്ടു കിടക്കുകയാണ് ഇവിടത്തെ പ്രശ്നങ്ങള്‍.
(Why these much ladies and kids take part in this strike. Everywhere, they are facing many problems like waste, diseases and drinking water. There is no pure water to drink. If the water is poisonous, the ladies should bring pure water from wherever it is available. Like this, the ladies should deal with children’s diseases also. There is pain in mother’s mind.. she knows that there is poison in the food when she cooks for her child. Their own health problems… The ladies of Lāloor are much worried about the health of their family and the society. Moreover, the main problem is that of the youth that they won’t get a marital alliance. The outside people never would like to get tied with Lāloor by marriage. This is a cursed land… this is a poisoned land…, that is a cursed person.. who is coming here… they are suffering from these kinds of pain and insults.)
