സുകുമാര്‍ അഴിക്കോട് പറയുന്നു, |
ഇത്ര മനോഹരമായൊരു പേര് മാലിന്യ സമ്പൂര്‍ണ്ണതയുടെ ഒരു പര്യായമാക്കി മാറ്റിയ തൃശൂരിലെ ജനങ്ങളും ഭരണസമിതിയും ഒരിക്കലും ചരിത്രത്തിന്‍റെ മാപ്പര്‍ഹിക്കാത്ത തെറ്റാണ് ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. ലോകത്തിലെവിടെയുമുള്ള പ്രശ്നമാണിത്. ഗ്രമങ്ങളിലിതുണ്ട്, പട്ടണങ്ങളിലുണ്ട്, ദല്ലി യിലും കല്‍ക്കറ്റയിലുമുണ്ട്. ലണ്ടനിലും ന്യൂയോര്‍ക്കിലും മോസ്കോവിലും എല്ലാമുണ്ട്. ഇവിടങ്ങളില്‍ തന്നെ ശാസ്ത്രീയമായി ഇത് പരിഹരി ക്കപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ഭരണത്തിലിരിക്കുന്നവരുടെ കാലഘട്ട ത്തിലിത് പരിഹരിക്കുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ തൃശൂരിന്‍റേയും കേരളത്തി ന്‍റേയും ചരിത്രത്തില്‍ ഏറ്റവും ശ്രേഷ്ഠമായ ഒരു സ്ഥാനം ഈ ഭരണ സമിതിക്ക് ലഭിക്കുന്നതായിരിക്കും. doing something wrong in history for which there is no indemnity
that they are always trying to degrade the beautiful name of Lāloor, equaling
it with impurity. There are many issues same as here everywhere in the world.
They are in villages, towns - Delhi, Calcutta and even in London, Newyork and
Moscow. But, now a days solutions are available. If any of these Governments
find a workable solution for this issue, they will be well placed in the
history of Thrissur and Kerala.)
